Join us Monday: Strengthening Palliative Care in Health Systems at London Global Cancer Week
APCA invites its members, partners and the wider palliative care community across Africa to a free online session, Strengthening Palliative Care in Health Systems: Understanding Barriers and Solutions, taking place on Monday as part of London Global Cancer Week.
About the session
Palliative care works best when it is built into health systems rather than delivered at the margins. This session looks at what stands in the way of integrating palliative care into health systems and at practical solutions that have helped to overcome those barriers. It is organised by the Two Worlds Cancer Collaboration as part of London Global Cancer Week, an annual series of events on global cancer care.
The session is relevant to clinicians, programme managers, policymakers, researchers and advocates working to expand access to palliative care, including for children.
